22 letters, still in their envelopes and carefully bundled, accidentally found on top of bulky waste, mark the starting point for this work. They are written over the span of ten years (1983-1993), from an imprisoned father who adressed them to his daughter.
I facsimiled the letters, except of one who remained unopened and has been left like this, and let them chronoligically run like a red thread through the present book. Out of respect and to prevent identification certain informations has been blacked out.
The gaps between the letters are filled with a web consisting of hundreds of images, that I compiled after and in correspondence with my readings.
